1. Log into your GoDaddy account
First, go to ae.godaddy.com, click on Sign In at the top right corner.
Enter your username and password, then click Sign In.
2. Access your domain
Once logged in, navigate to My Products from the account menu.
Find the Domains section, where you’ll see a list of your purchased domains.
3. Manage DNS settings
Locate the domain you want to connect and click on DNS or Manage DNS next to it.
You’ll be taken to the DNS Management page.
4. Update DNS records
Using A Records:
1. In the Records section, look for an existing A record or create a new one.
2. To create a new A record:
Click "Add".
Set the Type to A.
Enter @ in the Name field (this represents your root domain).
In the Value field, enter the IP address of your hosting server.
Set the TTL (Time to Live) to your preferred setting (default is usually fine).
3. Click "Save".
5. Add Domain in your hosting account
1. Log into your Bazium account.
2. Go to the main Settings section in the left panel, then to the Website section and the Domains subsection.
3. Click on the edit icon.
4. Add the domain you purchased from GoDaddy.
5. Click "Save".
6. Allow time for DNS propagation
1. Changes to DNS settings may take some time to propagate across the internet.
2. Generally, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to up to 48 hours for changes to take effect.
7. Verify connection
1. After some time, check if your domain is correctly pointing to your website.
2. You can use online tools like WhatsMyDNS to check the DNS propagation status.
